Employee participation is a key success factor for successful change processes. This workshop shows how it can be implemented in practice. After an introduction to the theoretical background of participatory change processes, a practical example is used to illustrate how employee participation can contribute to successful organizational design. In the main part of the workshop, participants use a participation canvas to work out how participation can be designed in their own organization. The following key questions are addressed:
- Which participation formats are suitable for our organizational structure?
- How can employees be involved and where are the limits of their influence?
- What prerequisites and resources are necessary to implement participation?
